The Lin Dan Cup Badminton Open in Xi'an has reached a record-high prize money, with Japan's star player Kento Momota making his return to the court.

The highly anticipated 2025 Lin Dan Cup Badminton Open in Xi'an will take place from July 25 to 27 at the Shaanxi Provincial Sports Center. The announcement of former world champion Kento Momota's participation has significantly increased the event's attention.

Kento Momota, Zhao Junpeng, and Zhan Junwei are among the male singles stars competing in the Lin Dan Cup in Xi'an.

Additionally, the total prize money for this event has reached 850,000 RMB, setting a new record. The men's singles champion will receive a prize of 250,000 RMB, while the mixed team champion will also be awarded 150,000 RMB, making it a focal point of the competition.
