Winter Olympic figure skating champion Sherbakova has mastered a new sport and is working hard to maintain her physique.

Anna Sherbakova, the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics women's singles figure skating champion from Russia, mentioned she is currently studying the skills and regulations of padel tennis (paddle tennis). Compared to conventional tennis courts, padel courts are a bit smaller, but the tighter space results in quicker gameplay and more vigorous contests, perfect for those who seek thrilling and challenging sports experiences.

Sherbakova has recently taken up paddle tennis and is doing stretches after marathon training.

On June 28 local time, Sherbakova participated in a "Moscow Marathon Training" event at Luzhniki. There, she learned about injury recovery, maintaining fitness, and balancing nutrition. Sherbakova said the training was tough, but everyone involved was dedicated. "I now often play indoors. After injury, all muscles need to stay engaged. Figure skating places very unique and uneven demands on the body. So, as a preventive measure, activating all muscles is very beneficial. I frequently work out at the gym."

Sherbakova shares her summer outfit choices.

Sherbakova also revealed that she recently started learning padel tennis, which might become a new hobby for her. She also discussed healthy eating, emphasizing its importance for girls involved in sports. "I try to find a balance between healthy eating and not imposing any restrictions. I work hard to keep in shape, but I am still searching for the perfect balance."
